Saturday, January 26th - Annual Rose Pruning Workshop

The Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum will host its annual rose pruning workshop. Are you stumped about how to prune roses? Learn how to safely and properly care for roses by joining us for a free rose pruning workshop led by our horticulture team, along with area master gardeners and members of the Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum.

What better place to learn how to care for our national flower? All you’ll need to bring is a sharp pair of bypass pruning shears and leather gloves. A limited number of shears will be available to borrow. Knee pads are helpful. Light refreshments, snacks and light lunch will be provided. Volunteers will take home their very own succulent plant and a goodie bag!

The hands-on training event will take place on Saturday, January 28th, 2023 from 10am through 4pm..These workshops are free and open to the public.

Please RSVP with Mercedes Hernandez, Educational Coordinator at 310-603-0088 or by email at mercedes.hernandez@dominguezrancho.org.
