Following the recent public health concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum will be postponing the Earth Day Fair scheduled for Saturday, April 4th, 2020, from 11 am to 4 pm, to a later date. Thank you for your understanding – Museum Administration
The mission of this Earth Day event is to encourage attendees to think a bit more deeply about the state of our planet and what we, as individuals and as a community, can do about it. The fair will consist of activities and exhibits aimed at providing environmental education and awareness to the community.
The day’s events will include: educational resource booths from local vendors and organizations, hands-on children’s activities, docent-led museum and garden tours, a composting workshop, as well as educational talks from exhibitors and members of the Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum. The fair will conclude with a tree planting ceremony at 3:30pm. Local food vendors will also be on site.
This is an all ages event that is free and open to the public. Events like this are a fun way to bring our community together and to inspire us to be more mindful of the well-being of this planet that we all call home.
