The museum is excited to participate for the 7th year in Old Fort MacArthur Days at Fort MacArthur Museum in San Pedro.  This is the west’s largest continually running re-enactment and living history timeline event! For more than twenty years now the Fort MacArthur Museum has sponsored what has turned into the west’s largest multicultural celebration of world military history. What began as a small gathering of cannon enthusiasts has blossomed into a truly spectacular event showcasing the history of military activity from around the world and across time.

The hours of this year’s show are 10am–4pm for the public both days. This is the 2st year the museum is participating as a full period camp.  The theme is 1820’s to 1848 (the Mexican Rancho period in California).  What does it mean to be a full period camp?  It means that the camp will represent this period down to the tiniest detail.  There will be no cell phones, plastic water bottles etc.  Come out and see the museum’s camp and the other wonderful camps.

Tickets cost $10.00 per person and benefit the restoration, preservation, and education programs of the Fort MacArthur Museum. If you would like to be a part of the dinner after hours on Saturday (held in the same area) an additional fee of $10.00 per person would be required.

Please pre-register for Old Fort MacArthur Days before June 5th, 2016 to be able to participate in the Soldados/Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum reeanctment camp. You must register. No walk-ins will be accepted.
