Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum


The museum provides a variety of tours to choose from:

  • Public Tours are given every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and the 1st Thursday and Friday of the month at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.  No reservations are necessary.  These tours are a tour of the adobe home.
  • School tours are given every Tuesday through Friday at 9:30am.  Tours include a tour of the museum customized to California State standards and 2 interactive and educational activities.
  • Group tours are by reservation only.  A group tour is a size of 10 or more people.  There is museum tour, garden tour, and a combined museum/garden tour.
  • Garden Tours are given the 4th Saturday of the month at 11am.  This tour covers the 6 gardens are the Rancho grounds.  No reservations are necessary.
  • Senior Tours are by reservation only.  These tours include a tour of the museum and garden and are either in 1st person (Dominguez family descendant) or 3rd person (museum docent).
  • Spanish Speaking Tours are given on the 2nd Sunday of each month and are at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
  • Scout Trips are arranged throughout the year through the various scout offices.  There are weekend camps, week long camps and day trips.  For more information, please contact the office since these tours and camps are customized.
