Japanese Argonauts on the Rancho: Speaker Series on 9/14

Nikkei is a term used for people of Japanese-American ethnicity.  During the early days at the Dominguez Rancho, some of the Nikkei settled here.  Learn about their journey as they came to America, settled and became citizens, survived the internment camps of World War II and re-established themselves.  It is an important history of an integral culture in the melting pot of California and the United States.

Learn about their journey at this talk.  This is a panel discussion with 4 experts in the field.    Please see our event page for more details.
