Speaker Series: The Beauty of Trains @ 1pm on April 30th

Join us for the 2nd talk in our “Working, Living and Traveling on the Rancho” speaker series where you will learn the history of the Pacific Electric Train system.  It began back in the 1800s in California when Manuel Dominguez gave the right of way through this land to help establish the train system.

For our speaker, Steve Crise, railroads and trains have always been his primary interest in his art and photography.   He has worked as a professional photographer for years and has had plenty of travel experience throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia.  He took advantage of the local railroad scene around the country and around the world while traveling.  Today, he is delighted to be a freelance photographer for BNSF.  He is writing a book on the Pacific Electric and will offer many insights to this fascinating history.

There is a suggested donation of $4 and light refreshments will be served.
