Stained Glass Window Activity

As part of the Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum’s Weekend Activity series, the “Stained Glass Art” activity is an interactive art and educational workshop, where people are taught how to make their own stained glass art piece.  Learn about the Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum and stained glass as you make your own piece of stained glass art to take home.  It’s fun, educational and free.  Appropriate for ages 7 and up.  Reservations are required.

Early California Dance Workshop

Join us  for the first Early California Dance Workshop.  This will be a Mission & Rancho dance instruction in preparation for the Fandango at the Dominguez Battle Reenactment on October 10th, and in honor of the 225th anniversary of the 1st Spanish Land Grant given out in 1784.  The workshop is free and donations are accepted.  Costumes admired, but not required.  Singles, couples, all ages are welcome.  For more information, please call (310) 603-0088.

Volunteer Sunday

Touch history by helping out in the museum by working in the museum collections. People can help by working in the archives and in the museum rooms.  You get to work with artifacts and learn history at the same time.  Call to make a reservation to be a part of volunteer Sunday.

Watercolor Day

Join us for our 1st annual watercolor day on September 19th, 1pm to 4pm. Come and learn from watercolor artists how they create their masterpieces and stroll through an exhibit of their artwork on the Rancho grounds.
